Supporting a Winning Democratic Party

We won, and almost instantly the Beltway insiders began calling for the head of Howard Dean. It's really an amazing turn of events when you think about it, so I encourage anyone and everyone to purchase a Democracy Bond at whatever amount you can afford to help Howard Dean's Democratic Party:

• Reform the political process by building a political party beholden only to the people, not the special interests
• Build the Democratic Party from the ground up in every precinct so that we can compete everywhere
• Win elections in every state and territory of the United States, at every level of office

Governor Howard Dean launched the "Democracy Bonds" program (and bought the first one himself to signify his commitment) because he believes that we can take our country back -- precinct by precinct, block by block, with every Democrat taking responsibility for getting their family, friends and neighbors involved.

The Republicans raise $10 million every month from corporate interests and lobbyists. The Democratic Party will never be able to compete in the traditional ways with a party that has abandoned the people and taken selling access and influence to a new level.

But we can do it if half a million people are giving $20 a month to change the way our political process works.
