Disturbing Trend ... Did McCain Get A Bigger Bump Than Expected From The Republican Convention?

By Wednesday we should have the numbers to evaluate any gain from the convention.

Current Trend from Gallup Polls indicate Barack Obama's advantage over John McCain has been shrinking since the start of the Republican National Convention, and is now down to just two percentage points -- 47% to 45% -- too close to call.

the people that still have land lines at home... Cell phones as primary means of contact have risen by 7.5% in 2005, 11% in 2006, 16% in 2007 and are projected to be near 20% by the end of this year. As cell phone coverage becomes more reliable and nationwide plans become the standard, analog lines will only remain as a means of communicating with the paper-skinned crones of the RNC.

This was expected

It would be naive not to expect a bounce after any covention.

But remember that conventions create these bubbles that usually burst once we come back to reality.

I don't want to be too optimistic, but I think it's interesting that after such a show by the republicans (pitbull Sarah), they are still trailing our man, Obama. Knock on wood!

It will be Wednesday before all the data surveys are compiled and when the convention numbers are reflected in the polls. We can then evaluate the bump accurately.

We have to work hard but they get a bounce too and lets face it Palin was a big novelty and it takes time to wear off and believe me she will. I am sick of her already. They have been spreading a lot of lies and her putting off the press will only make them angry thank goddness and maybe the msm will grow some kinda of Ba**s and report on her anyway. Then the debates will come and no way with all the great stuff that came form the debates with Hillary, Obama will be so much more prepared, McCain looked awful in the republican debates. Biden will take down little miss Alaska.
