Some thoughts about today and the way the world has changed since this date back in 2001. I am a Catholic who was married to a Muslim in a Baptist church, and 2001 helped to change all of that. I am a Democrat who still flies Ol’ Glory and am proud of that, and 2002 tried to change that. I am a man of faith who believes strongly in something greater than myself and 2004 tried to change all of that. And would you like to know what I have learned since that time?
That both George W. Bush and Richard Cheney should be tried for sedition. Every time they choose language like, “You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists” I say to myself. You two shysters have done more to pave the way for “The Terrorists” than anyone. Where 5 YEARS later is Osama Bin Laden? Where? Who is soft on Terrorism? YOU ARE… Saddam is not Osama!!! Al-Zarqawi is NOT OSAMA!!! My outrage can no longer bear the fact that these two can’t find someone 6 foot 5, in the land of the 5 foot 8. My indescribable fury can no longer be contained, purely due to the fact that OSAMA is on DIALYSIS and therefore has to be near a place where he can filter his kidneys. Even the portable devices used for dialysis could not have lasted 5 YEARS! I, a voting member of a sane nation, and can no longer adhere to the credo of “STAY THE COURSE” because Washington DC has become lost at sea. And if staying the course means another 5 YEARS without OSAMA! And 5 MORE YEARS of REPUBLICAN LIES than I will tell you this here and now… I WILL VOTE FOR ANYONE WHO OFFERS TO THROW THE BOTH OF YOU INTO PRISON FOR AIDING THE ENEMIES OF THE STATE. YOU HAD ONE JOB AFTER SEPTEMBER 11th, TWO THOUSAND AND ONE; BRING TO JUSTICE OSAMA BIN LADEN. YOUR FAILURE TO DO SO MEANS YOU HAVE BEEN GIVING AID AND COMFORT TO OUR ENEMIES. NOW YOU HAVE HAD YOUR CHANCE TO DO YOUR JOB… YOU DIDN’T, STAND ASIDE AND LET A DEMOCRAT ACTUALLY GET THE JOB DONE. YOU KNOW THE DEMOCRATS, THOSE PEOPLE WHO TOOK DOWN THE NAZIS? THOSE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO FOCUS THE FIGHT BACK WHERE IT SHOULD BE. ON OSAMA BIN LADEN!!!!
The two of you are disgusting and should hang your heads in shame… As I write this Taps plays in the back ground chiming from a clock tower. And I think of those who have not been given the justice they so richly deserve. When will the bell toll on those who planned and perpetrated the attacks of SEPTEMBER 11th, TWO THOUSAND AND ONE? WHEN WILL THEN BELL TOLL FOR TWO MEN WHO CLAIM TO BE TOUGH ON TERROR BUT LETS THE KING OF TERROR RUN LOOSE? WHEN? May God grant us freedom from these COWARDS soon.

Three of my four grandparents came over and the fourth was only second generation Pennsylvania Dutch, read that German who labored in the oilfields near Johnstown and intermarried with Irish who worked in the steel mills. My mom's dad was Greek Orthodox who enlisted to fight for his new country before he was a citizen.
On the New York side, my dad's family was Catholic with an Irish grandmother and French grandfather who died early working the docks. Our family proudly contributed one to New York's Finest and one to New York's Bravest - civil service was an honour and a duty. My dad was a subway worker.
Ethnic diversity, religious diversity, racial diversity is nothing new to us Democrats unlike the Republicans who use demographics to divide and gerrymander.
We can do better.
Public Opinion is more and more against the War, yet he brings it up anyway on Monday. That was a smart one. In a blink of an eye move from remembering the heroes of 9/11 to talking about a war that more and more Americans feel was a mistake. Good timing, as always, just like going to congratulate Michael Brown a week after hurricane Katrina happened.
Whoever writes his speeches is also clueless. They actually thought it was a great idea to have the President mention how Osama said that Iraq is the place to beat us, so we have to stay in Iraq, otherwise we'll look bad. We already look bad, and if we had captured Osama in the first place, Osama would have been saying what he said from a prisoncell, not somewhere in the last place in the world where Westerners are welcomed.
Meanwhile, no mention on 9/11 of how all of the 9/11 commission reports reccomendations were enacted. (We all know how the Bush administration loves reccomendations from military generals.) And yet Bush said that the terrorists are determined to attack us in our homes. OK, anything being done o protect the homeland. Nothing much mentioned.

I have been on this for years . that the Religious Wrong is undermining our civil life , while being backed up by big crime family money..aint that sweet.So 9/11 did not really change anything. it just brought the dirty deeds out in the open. Osama was supplied and trained by our very own daddy bush while he was head of the CIA..somehow the rest of the sheeples seem to forget that they were a crime family long before they got into the polical crimes dept.

In 2000, when they SELECTED" George to be our president, I was living and working in North Florida. I had spent 20 years in South Florida, and was not used to the conservative politics and religion. To make a long story short, I was right in the middle of all the "chads", and exposure to Rush Limbaugh on the radio. It was frustrating to say the least. I remember my feeling at the time. Mainly, I felt that the conservative republican neocons had stolen my flag and my bible. I resented it deeply! I was sick and tired of the little "flag pins". They began their war of division then, and are continuing it five years later. All they want is to divide and conquer. All they want is power, control, and wealth. I'm sorry but I am passionate about all of this! I'm turning 64 years old this year, and have never been more political. I've never seen such a mess. Thanks for your passionate words. We need more of the same from every thinking person in this country!
