Some might say Emmanuel Rahm is just a mad, over aggressive politician, but I think it's quite different. Rahm has a no nonsense attitude, which means no slacking off and no dicking around. His ideas have led the way in areas such as the bailout, and economic stimulus, where Senator Chris Dodd and him have been major proponents. Most people are thinking why would partisanship be good trait, well I'll explain that.When you're in Congress there are two teams The Republicans and The Democrats but when you are in the Executive Branch its You vs The World.So Rahm will switch his orientation from Democrat to Obamian.

BTW- It's Rahm Emanuel- I know- who would have thought a guy with such a funny name could be elected from Illinois?
Look- a warrior is a warrior- the media's incessant citing of Emanuel's partisanship is like pigeonholing a WWII GI as a Kraut Killer- useless for fighting Japanese. Of course it is nonsense.
Obama is not training the guns across the aisle- over and over in the campaign he repeated who he is gunning for, and let's face it: Lobbyists won't go quietly into the night.
This signals that Obama has every intention of taking an aggressive leadership role in policy and delivering on his promise to do battle with lobbying interests that otherwise holds great sway in congress.
It is guaranteed this will get nasty- this opportunity must not be frittered away as the republican congress allowed itself to be misdirected by special interests. There are many democrats who vote less with the democrats than Liebermann. So who is going to deliver severe consequences for such flirtations with lobbyists?
