I am going to attempt to name most of the people that I think were most helpful from a Party builder standpoint. I will miss many of course but I still want to do it. Read more.

this is in no order other than how this drunk, drug induced mind remembers: Shopman, Bill Dickson, Annie B. Anne K., Arius, Steve Wilson, Freedom of Speech, Gretchen, Jacob, Deb Williams, Lincoln Park and a cast of others that I said I couldnt remember. THANKS TO ALL DEMOCRATS WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN, YOU DID GOOD!!! Obama will make us proud!!

you, too, Jim
By Moses Nov 21st 2008 at 11:41 pm EST (Updated Nov 21st 2008 at 11:41 pm EST)
There are still people here who would like to truly unite, and not continually bicker and moan. there are some, too, who are willing to put past differences aside. Some, too, who truly welcome all regardless of race, creed, gender, orientation, disability, and most importantly thought. Some, too, who are of the mindset, "My way only." Jim, I count you among the best.

Hey Moses, haven't seen you in ages...no pun intended.

I agree with you, with the election over people are slowly starting to settle. I think most are too exhausted and have had enough drama. People have proven to themselves and others how much can be accomplished by having our differences while also working together.

Jim you surprised a lot of people when you came back after the primary's as an Obama supporter and weren't afraid to say so. There were only a handful of you that did that openly. Hats off and thank you : )

I am sure I said before at some point I was born a Democrat and I really was, I am happier that Obama is Prez instead of Clinton.

.....would have won this year against Bush, but keep patting yourself on the back if you think you found the mesiah.

you can say that but maybe not, McCain would have ran a different campaign against Clinton and the negative stuff might have worked.

Great idea.

So kind of you to think of me.
Here are a few more .
D. Tree
Stephen Crockett
Ray Pairan

There are so many who were here and left.
Things were tough... I hope those days are gone and we can disagree civilly. Things are getting better as Jan. 20, 2009 aproaches. It will be a great New Year. The end of the dark empire.

peace,
marsha

You are the ones you've been wasiting for
By purple summer Nov 22nd 2008 at 11:54 am EST (Updated Nov 22nd 2008 at 11:54 am EST)
OMG this clusterxxxx is pathetic. This self congratulatory post is the only post with more than a couple comments, guess that shows what you think is important.....you! The democratic party is going to be out of power sooner than you can say "we are the ones we've been waiting for". If Rick Santorum runs ends up President......I'm blaming you short sighted do gooders!

I am sorry you feel that way but the truth is even though this site became less exciting after the bannings we were able to stay focused on winning and thats what happened.

There are about 4 people on your original list that were party dividers, not builders. You know who they are, no need to name names. The fact that the cause was common to get Obama elected doesn't equal party building.

maybe not but I was just trying to acknowledge the people who had a big impact on the site and did a lot of good work. I like others wish the site could have evolved into something better but it is what it is.
