Today I was able to read bits and pieces of a blog written by Blueberry in which people were calling for the return of Shopman. Shop is a friend of mine, but I was just confused. When the moderator banned Jack and everyone asked for him to return, he did so, but under a new email address. Ok, fine. So, is the issue that Shopman can't return at all or is it you want him to be known as Shopman again or Thee Shopman as he is currently registered under? Just a little clarification on my part. Thanks.

A "group" of people, went to Matt to have him banned because of a "joke" blog he did about a bra---they also went after him on their newsletter for the same "joke" blog----Link
they got him banned, imo because I did not see anyone else that was upset about his blog---certainly not me.
Statenisland went after shopman for one of his wonderful 12 step blogs.
He was posting beautiful 12 step blogs, and calming everyone down after a frenzy of attack blogs------my favorite was the Serenity one he did with the water and the raindrop----everyone loved them all except staten----who said s/he was offended by the one called forgiveness and portrayed Jesus.
Shopman appologized the him/her ---but I guess that wasn't enough.
So, please, if this is about Shopman and Ben, being reported unfairly, PLEASE TALK TO THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE.
Seriously, don't play with fire kids.
I know how commenting on some of the posts here seem prohibitive lately, especially with certain bloggers.
I am sure the position I was in was not an enviable one.

I have been an Obama supporter BEFORE he decided to run-- The first time I met him I begged him to run... I volunteered immediately when they opened an office in Seattle in my "spare" time-- Mother of 5 working 60-88 hours per week-- If Obama was anything like the way you and lpd I would have worked hard for someone else... YOU TWO and a few others have done anything and everything to destroy the uniting process... If Obama looses-- LOOK in the mirror when looking for a REASON!!!
Obama walks the walk-- all you do is talk garbage an pull him down-- you are the EXACT opposite to what HE stands for!!!

If you really want to know who got Shopman banned.
I layed out clearly who got Shopman and Ben banned.
Please, if this is really about Shopman as this BLOG HEADING indicates, please focus on the ones who got him banned instead of blaming anyone else.
Or if you just want to use Shopmans being banned to be able to attack Obama supporters, go ahead, I guess.
Relying on the complaints of other bloggers to guide a moral compass when it comes to censorship, is totally ack basswards.

I think what is going on is wrong. Illinois, I don't agree with most of what you have to say but I the discussion back an forth is healthy. I think the problem is that there are some people who cross the line, now Shopman or Jack. But there are people who have called black people the N work and Nazis and the the like. Those people who are over the top are the ones that ruin it for Shopman and Jack.
Things have gone askew, awry, afoul. If acquiescing to the complaints of other bloggers is what guides a moral compass for censorship than things have become completely ack baswards.
