happy. no more chris nd no more keith. now we can just take brokaw at his word and andrea at hers - as long as no one challenges the guest - its all good.
Oh you people are so silly
Why do you trust without reading the links
Olberman is going nowhere-----the repubs are just making thier silly whining stink stink

Up to now, the company’s public support for MSNBC’s strategy has been enthusiastic. At an anniversary party for Mr. Olbermann in April, Mr. Zucker called “Countdown& acirc;€ “one of the signature brands of the entire company.â€
Just last year, Mr. Olbermann signed a four-year, $4-million-a-year contract with MSNBC. NBC is close to supplementing that contract with Mr. Olbermann, extending his deal through 2013 — and ensuring that he will be on MSNBC through the next election

Sorry LPD, I don't quite understand why you're acting like that toward Mel. She posted a link to a news story from the New York Times saying that Olbermann has been moved from anchor to analyst.
Can you help me understand why you're saying that's speculative?

well, we have a lot of new people now and from what many 'old timers' have said...old bloggers that left during the primary's due to negativity are coming back in good numbers. heard that from quite a few people. I would think that was good thing. Most think it's a very good thing. I agree with that as well.

well that's nice. You guys should really wright to JP Fenyo and get him back. He rocks. I dont have his email address, but he was a hardcore Obama supporter. His dream ticket was Biden/Obama - but I'm sure he's happy this way as well. He'd be an asset to the site now that it's pretty much everyone conforming or being thrown out.

not going there Anne. Many people whom you respect are happy with the site now. Many came back and many new have come. And even the ones you speak of...are back under different names for the most part. Parsonal attacks here are few and far between and almost everyone is working for the same goals. Really....I can't even recall the last 'fight' and those were common place. The negativity is gone for the most part. If it comes back...it is very short lived.

just in case you don't know what that really means:
[Q] From Cristlyn Randazzo: “What is the origin of the expression ‘Iâ&e uro;™ll be your Huckleberryâ€&trade ;? What exactly does it mean?â€
[A] What it means is easy enough. To be one’s huckleberry — usually as the phrase I’m your huckleberry — is to be just the right person for a given job, or a willing executor of some commission.

and by the way - now we have this to look forward to:
Brokaw falsely suggested Oprah hosted Obama as a presidential candidate
Brokaw did not challenge GOP senator's false claim about Obama and taxes
Host Andrea Mitchell didn't engage on the topic of the truthfulness of Palin's speech.
MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell, on Sarah Palin's speech: "That's what came through: the authenticity."
Andrea Mitchell falsely asserted that Sen. John McCain had not set a "threshold" that his vice presidential pick would be someone "ready to step in on a moment's notice." In fact, McCain has said that the "overwhelming priority" for his selection "is a person who shares my principles, my values, my priorities ... and could be -- immediately take my place."

see i don't even care about his ratings - i just listen to the commentary and the guests. he is no worse than bill O or sean hannity relatively speaking. i don't for one minute think the repubs have that much influence. but i betcha this - nothing will happen to morning joe...

really? They have been pretty supportive of Democrats. Most Democratsd love Matthews and especially Keith O. Love his comments at the end especially. I'm surprised you don't watch them.

but does that make sense to you? is that an acceptable explanation?
zingers and cheap shots aside - palin has some questions to answer.
if you are gonna trust the msm to get you those answers you are sadly mistaken - its just like the primary - where folks in msm were saying the fact that hrc was a woman gave her an unfair advantage - remember that?
its the same thing now - only this time - its in favor of the repub candidate - which is exactly what they want to happen.
So sorry to hear this. But not surprised... NBC the parent is clearly has to protect their image.
But it's clear that NBC is in the Republican camp.
It's so sad that Tim Russert passed away. if Tim were still alive, you can bet that Olberman and Matthews would not have been so unbalanced and there would have been more balanced reporting.
But Joe Scarborough, on Morning Joe is also very biased on the Republican side. he is the next one who should go. Now the Fox Channel will be the Rebublican propaganda channel and we the little people have no counter to the Republican channel and the BIG Business Media Moguls who are the party of the rich. Tim Russert, I bet you knew the Palin VP candidate was coming, that you know the outcome of this election already and is just smiling down at us all.
ain't it mel?

but Olberman is not going anywhere-----he has a
higher television rating than any other show in the 12-year history of the network
HE LEANS LEFT AND HE SPEAKS ABSOLUTE TRUTH TO POWER THAT OTHERS WON'T SAY
BTW
Rachael Maddow is going to be following him, I think starting tomorrow.
