A few months ago I posted a blog in consideration of a forecast of 12 Battleground states and remember some of the reactions to that post. As I come back today Obama is ahead in six of those states and only about 6 more remain in which Obama is ahead in each one including Ohio and Florida. It things hold true this pattern will reveal one of the most stunning election results in American history way beyond my own expectations. I find it necessary to say THANK YOU to the FRIENDS who have stuck with me through this campaign. We went through alot here but held firm to our convictions. I am blessed to be back home in California at a time where family are even getting out and voting early for the first time in their lives.

Yes We Can!

Yes We Will!

Obama/Biden 08!

a roller coaster ride-- sometimes fun, sometimes sickening and sometimes terrifying... BUT I am glad to say that I got on the ride...

My husband told me a year ago there was no way that Obama could win-- then he won in Iowa and he said maybe... I told him 6 months ago, Biden would be the VP-- he said no way... AND now I am saying landslide and he finally is onboard with me... smile...

My son's 5th grade class is having an election-- The teacher let them pick Obama and McCain. There were very few McCain kids in the class and they are making big campaign posters, so the teacher made the Obama kids draw straws to switch sides to help with the McCain side... Well my son drew a short straw and was assigned to be on McCain's side. He came home from school and said "Mom, I just don't think I can do it... I don't like McCain or Palin-- How can I make a poster to support them..."

I was furious-- So today, Drew wore his Obama shirt to school and I told the teacher that he needed to switch him to the Obama side... that it went against EVERY thing I and my family have worked for over the last year and a half... He switched him back... smile...

It is the YOUTH vote that is going to make this election a landslide... It is these votes that the polls have not been able to include... It is Obama's great ORGANIZATION that has brought him to a no name to President and it is THIS type of leadership that is going to return this nation to a nation that the world looks up to AGAIN!!!

I remember earlier in the year when people used to ask me why I was voting for Obama in the pimary and I stated because I was voting with the youth. It is interesting to see how some of these same folks that used to chastise me now are following along instead of leading this movement which is gaining so much momentum that the Obama phenomenom has become a political tsunami. It is also rather humorous watching McCain camp implode using the same negative campaign tactics against Obama which failed in the primary. They have no merit on their own just outdated dirty campaign tactics. They also underestimate the conscious level of Obama supporters. I also posted a blog months ago stressing the diference between Obama/Mcain in respective to the issue of Energy Independence. I thought that his was a stupid trick by McCain to try to pull off the "Maverick" trick on that issue looking at their voting records. That is one of Obama's strongest areas being PRO Energy Independence while McCain's record is ANTI. Bringing Plain in to lobby for Nuclear Energy development was a dead give-away. One that is back-firing and causing implosion within his own camp. If he has lost control of his own running mate how can he manage the National Defense?
