Put off those purchases until we get back control. Use cash instead of credit cards when purchases are needed.

If 25% of the population slows down spending for the next 6 months, change will happen.

The auto industry is already dead.
What they want the congress bailout to keep business as usual until the final collapse.
They want to secure his capital with the taxpayer money.
This industry doesn't worth a penny right now.

The auto industry is the heart and soul of American manufacturing and BS recommendations like this do nothing but play into the hands of the anti-union GOP. And with all of your bravado here, you fail to explain how the three million people, or so, who rely on this industry are going to get a paycheck or their pensions should the auto industry be "destroyed", as you so insanely put it. Furthermore, it was the auto industry that was instrumental in this nation's success during WW2. If it weren't for Ford and GM, your sorry arse would speaking German or Japanese right now.

Here's a novel concept. Be an American. Buy American. It really is that simple.
