Agenda 12 Noon - Lunch (shared potluck).
12:45 PM - Analysis and Vision: Our mission is to help transform the global social system by: 1. Establishing a new primary purpose for our society â�" that is, to promote our common good, nurture personal development, empower communities, and protect our environment; 2. Reforming our institutions, our culture, and ourselves to serve that purpose. 12:50 PM - Presentation of Possible Actions (see group discussions for more info): â�¢ Continuing the Obama Movement: An Open Discussion â�¢ Transforming the Democratic Party â�¢ A Community of Home-Based Teams â�¢ A Million Member Monthly Mobilization â�¢ Community Dialogues with Elected Officials â�¢ Post-Election Debriefings â�¢ Information Debates NOTE: Please submit suggested changes and additions to this group of possible actions by Nov.8. The planning committee will try to incorporate your suggestions into the materials that are posted and distributed beforehand so participants can read, discuss, and reflect on them. 1:15 PM - Questions Concerning the Possible Actions. 1:30 PM - Evaluation of the Possible Actions. 2:30 PM - Develop Action Plans. If need be, form small groups composed of individuals interested in working on each action and set a time and place to meet later. 2:45 PM - Evaluation of This Event. 3:00 PM - Adjournment.
