I hope you don't think I'm talking about THIS GUY...

I have 2 orange tabbies that I rescued as stray kittens. I found them at 5 weeks old, covered in fleas and their tummies filled with intestinal worms.

TODAY IS THEIR 7th BIRTHDAY!!!

I also trap and neuter feral cats and foster homeless (domesticated) kitties until I can find them a "forever" family.

Here are just a FEW of the hundreds of fosters I've had over the years...

No, my house does not look (or smell) like zoo... but at 26 years old, I am a bit of a crazy cat lady.

And, yes, I love (love, love!) dogs, too. But cat are my #1. Can you tell? :)

my daughter is 26 and it's HER dog actually and Logan is her cat but I take care of them all mostly. LOL Moms (gotta love us)

In addition to my 2 kitties, my roommate has a cat and I have 3 fosters. At max, I've had 12 cats. On avg, I have between 5-7 at a time. They are my life!

What breed dog? It looks like a Husky/Shepherd mix (but I've never been good w/ dog breeds!). Very beautiful! I volunteer with Pet Harbor Rescue and Referral. They're a Siberian Husky rescue... and of course, they rescue cats too. ;)

We have two cats, Spice and Chitters. Spice was a stray kitten found at my mother-in-law's house and my kids brought him home (I wonder where they got the cat carrier?) against my wife's wishes.

Chitters came to us as a stray kitten, too. He was in our garden and walked straight over to my son, Kenny. Kenny picked him up and immediately said, "His name is Chitters". My wife was not amused.

So, now we have two neutered, inside-only cats. Good guys, both.

We also have a tank full of fish. These were Kenny's and, now, my wife cares for them. She's done a great job -- the angel fish are huge!

15 years ago I was sitting in my Ham-Radio station and I heard a weird chirping type sound directly above my head. My house roof overhung the patio roof. I went outside and heard this sound even louder. I climbed up on the rood and looked around the part that overhung. Guess what I found,,,,,,,,, 5 2 day old kittens. I put them in a box and my wife and I immediately went to the vet. The vet gave us 2 choices, one was out of the question. The choice we made was raise them. This meant, at first, we had to feed them with bottles and teach them how to potty by rubbing their bellies with wet cotton balls. We have since lost 2 to medical problems but we have 3 cats that are 15 years old and beginning to show it. The last time they were ever outside was the day I found them. We have never regretted the deision we made that day.....

Personally I prefer dogs, but cats are cool too. We have two dogs, a pit bull, and a golden retriever. Contrary to what you may think of pit bulls they are actually well mannered smart dogs. I think it all about how you raise them.

I LOVE PIT BULLS!!! They are one of the most GORGEOUS breeds ever! The bigger their head, the better. :) They are a loving, loyal breed that never seem to grow out of their puppy energy.

I have a turtle, my sister owns two fish, but no furry animals. My parents won't allow me to have them...

I'm a top student, but apparently, my piano and violin skills aren't up to my teacher's standards.
