One of the main things we need to focus on is absentee voting. If you would like to recieve an absentee ballot for your particular state. Whether to fill out yourself or to give to others, just get a hold of me and I will send either the link or the pdf file, whatever you like. Never underestimate the absentee vote! Obama 08!

Absentee ballost are a great alternative for ANYONE. And it is a great way to recruit new voters, especially for those who work with homebound and elderly people. While you can not provide them with the application itself, you can help them apply for it.

Also, a lot of folks who are slightly agoraphobic, or don't want to vote in pubic, can benefit from the absentee ballot process.

Also, while you are canvassing, and signing up new voters, anyone who expresses that they don't want to vote in a traditional poling place, can be encouraged to sign up if you tell them they DON'T have to show up anywhere, they can apply to vote from home.

Some states already have mail-in voting, this would increase the use of absentee ballots to encourage more states to make a much more nviable part of their own process.
