No More Hate Mongering

I was Happy with this forum. Sure I've had my differences with people on this site but that was all in the limits of sanity. That all changed when I read this post http://www.democrats.org/page/community/post/tompham/CrpM

This is a moronic Hate mongerer who Published a racist, untrue, Hate Speech filled post about Barok Obama. I want to be the first to condemn this horrible retched distasteful scribbles that he calls a post. I am an Obama supporter at this point and to see some one wright about him with this much ignorance insults me. I condemn all hate speech that has no basis.

Hate speech in america is a republican tactic. the same republicans that lie about a war that has killed 1 million Iraqis, Virtually destroyed our bill of rights and have brought our country to what seems to me to be the verge of a genocide against Muslims. this is evil. this is their tool to commit these unspeakable horrid acts. Don't let people like this get away with it.

In 1994 extremist Hutu Rwandans used more extreme hate speech to justify genocide. We should never let that happen in the US. I hate this tool in the game of murder I condemn it with all my hart

Breaking Poll News/ less than 72 Hours left

First of all happy New Year. I'm on the west coast so I still have a two hours. The Des Moines Register has through history been the most accurate Iowa poll. Today it released it's final poll. I bring good news for Obama supporters. Here are the numbers:
32% Obama
25% Clinton
24% Edwards
6% Richardson
In 2004 It was the only poll that had Kerry leading in Iowa and has a long history of predicting (or making) winners. If Obama wins Iowa he should win the next 3 states and have the momentum to win the nomination. I am extremely excited about the caucuses. I am hoping this poll is accurate.

We Should argue with cool heads for the next 72 hours or so and stop senseless Bickering.
On the Republican side I am seeing a dead heat between Huccabee and Romney witch could last till the convention. Let's hope it does so we can field our candidate in the time it takes them to get organized and so we have an interesting race to watch.
I am about to post a post on my blog with further commentary it is available at http://lindsaypolitics101.blogspot.com/

96 hours left

Iowa is getting crazy as you can read on my latest post at
http://lindsaypolitics101.blogspot.com/
My Averages show John Edwards with a 0.2% lead over Obama and a 1.8% over Clinton. I feel who ever wins Iowa will win the nomination. I will support Obama or Edwards depending on who does better. I am not YET comfortable supporting Clinton. If you want you can try and Enable me to do so me I am a reasonable man. One things guaranteed The Nominee will be 100 times better than bush. In these last 96 Hours lets stop bickering about our differences and argue with cool heads. We aren't Republicans. I like the thought of RFK Jr on the ticket but thats unlikely.

For the Record

I never said Hillary Clinton was a bad senator. I never said any thing about her voting record or her votes. I feel she is fine in the senate. It's like Arlon Spector, or Chuck Schumer, I feel Fine with both of them In the senate, I even Named chuck Schumer as one of my top 5 choices for Majority leader, but I don't want to see ether of them in the White House. Clinton is a horrid candidate for president. She votes the right way but she doesn't have the leadership capabilities to lay out a decent plan on many issues. I said three things about her witch I stick by
1)she is not a true Progressive
- she wants to stay in Iraq for a long time
- she voted to enable us to go to war with Iran (read
between the lines)
- She has no serious plan for global warming
- Her health care plan still puts our health care in the
hands of corporations
- She is not for gun control
- she is not for making marijuana legal (witch
would reduce gun violence and according to history the
drug rate (see Canada and most of western Europe)
Does this sound like a true progressive?
2) Her Campaign displays corruption
- She exploits gender
- she takes money from news companies
- she didn't give back the money Hsu gave her
- Instead of taking responcableity for shaheens remarks
she asks him to step down
- she plays into the game
- she plants questions
Is this an Honest campaign ?
3) She lies about her experience
- First lady is not president she did not set the
agenda she did not have official talks with all these
world leaders she simply "sat down for tea with them"
as Obama said
- she's been in the senate 6 years NOT 35
- Obama has been in the legislature longer than she
has
- She never balanced a budget
Is this the experience she has claimed?
Further more I feel she is far less electable in the general than Obama or Edwards and she has about
1/ 1,000,000 the charisma. lets face it the only reasons she's in the senate is because she ran in New York and she was married to bill who was president at the time of her election. Feel free to rebut or call me wrong I would love to feel more comfortable about her potential nomination. Please also note I am not sexist I would vote for Barbara Boxer, Nancy Poloci, Barbra Mikulski and Maybe even Olympia Snowe long before Hillary Clinton.

Lott and Iowa

I was trying to hold off on righting about lotts miraculous resignation. that not just strips the most evil, sinister, selfish, ignorant senator of his seat it also gives us a clear opertunity to pick it up. acording to a recent poll we are already wining in Mississippi by 14% so lets keep it up and defeat the ore of Trent Lott (the worst senator since mccarthy). while were at it lets also take out Ted Stevens and Mitch McConell.

I have a new blog on all the 2008 elections witch can be viewed at * [http://lindsaypolitics101.blogspot.com/ Lindsay politics 101]

Now for Iowa. I hope Hillary looses. Any of the top 3 candidates has a shot at winning the nomination. I will throw my support to Obama or Edwards depending on who does better. Obama has the best shot at the nomination for now. lets hope Hillary looses. She is not a true progressive. She also lies about her experience and displays a corrupt campaign. We need change not watered down consistency. I have a feeling she will come in a distant third as Dean did. before her.

11/21 should be a national Holiday

Today is the day between the Birth of one of the greatest political figures this country will ever know and the death of another. They were brothers. We should honor them with a holiday. Robert Kennedy saved the USA. we would have gone to nuclear war with the USSR had it not been for Kennedy's brilliance. He stopped a riot in Indianapolis the day Martin Luther King was shot. He cracked down on the mafia. He was as close as we've had to an American Gandhi.
His Brother was too a great Political figure. He put a man on the moon, help lead the civil rights movement and started the peace corps. together they are responsable for some of the greatest things in politics this country has ever known. the least we could do is honor them with a holiday.

I am calling on Harry Reid (D-NV) to resign as majority leader in the senate. he is too moderate and has not gone after the republicans. WE CAVED ON UNCONSTITUTIONAL WIRE TAPS TWICE. WE DIDN'T STOP FUNDING THE WAR IN IRAQ.HE DIDN'T GO AFTER THE REPUBLICANS ENOUGH WHEN THEY LEGALIZED TORTURE. NOTHINGS HAPPENED WITH THE ENVIERNMENT.WE MAY GO TO WAR WITH IRAN.he is unworthy of the position and should step down. Here is my list of 5 people who are:
Impechable afences

We need to regain our spine witch we lost after 9/11. I say we start calling the republicans on their B.S. Logic. There is no logic to their stances on immigration, civil rights, the war,Global warming and health care. But I think theres one more thing we have to do. Bush must be Impeached. he has broken constitutional law at least 14 times(witch I sight in one of my first post). Bush could also be charged with criminal neglect for Katrina. Ignoring the warning signs 9/11 is treason at best.he started a war on lies, he used it to justify the 14 breaks in the constitution and it was all because of a neo-conn fantasy. we need action. they impeached Clinton for a personal affair. now we have a president who is an Idiot and a VP who is the grim reaper and we cant get ether one of them. Lets use his last year to grow back our spine. Let's Impeach Bush.

My Halloween post

Being that its halloween I think I'll make a list of the presidential candidates from scariest to least scary:

1. Mitt Romney: I think it explains it self.
2. Tom Tencredo: If he had a chance he'd be #1 the biggest right winged whack
3. John Mccain: he pretends to be moderate but he's not
4. Duncan Hunter: another right winged whack
5. Rudy Guliani his plat form has 2 words "Nine eleven"
6. Allan Keyes: A nut
7. Fred Thompson: Little bit more moderate but still a whack and Incompetent
8. Mike Hucabee: Huccabee's weird. Somethings he's good on but other things He's crazy on like evolution.
Tier separation
-------------------------------------------------------------------
9. Hillary Clinton: she's not as Liberal as you think
10. Ron Paul: he's good on some issues but he shouldn't be this libertarian.

We all have to grow up a little bit (especially right wingers)

As the title says we all have to grow up a little bit on some issues. For one right winged republicans health care. Where do the republicans get off saying if your poor you deserve to live less than if your rich? Who wrote that position? Health care must be reformed.
the only reason the republicans don't believe in evolution is because they have not yet experienced it. Unless you don't believe in gravity you have to believe in evolution. Same goes for global warming.
Immigration is a civil rights issue. moderate democrats and most republicans need to get that through their heads and support a path to citizenship. I live in southern California we deal with immigration more than any other state. Trust me on this I know what I'm talking about.
The war is not a war, its a mass murder. 4,000 Americans, 1,000,000 Iraqi's. there is .004% american deaths opposed to Iraqi deaths. and also you cant pull all our troops out right away, as tempting as it is, then genocide's going to happen. we have to have a time table and if were lucky we could have everyone out by 2010.
gun control prevents death. 97% of murders are with a gun and 30,000 died in 2006. Maybe if a murder didn't have a weapon that could kill a man faster than any other weapon, he wouldn't do it . Hmm I wonder if there's some kind of connection there.
abortion shouldn't be out lawed, and if you do there has to be exceptions. and a parental consent law (Prop 85 here in CA) is just plain stupid.
Gay marriage is not a stop on the way to inter species marriage. No one wants to marry their dog.
And finally Conservatives have to stop pretending liberals are bad. To follow this philosophy you have to pretend Gandhi, Lincoln, Both Kennedy's, Mandella, and Clinton were all bad. guess what, with all except Lincoln they do. You must accept Gandhi's greatness before I can take you seriously. Lets see who they have, Hitler, Stalin, Napoleon, Sudam,Mussolini, and Mussolini. granted they were all extremist but still you have to admit that resumes pretty bad. Our founding fathers were liberals. And the same goes for us and moderate republicans Chafee was one of the top 5 most vocal anti bush critics and we Ignore that, but they did it firs.

I'm appalled

I'm appalled at some of the thoughts expressed in the comments written on some of my recent post. For one our party is the party of Equality. Were the ones that don't see the world in black and white. Where do we get off thinking party means good or bad. Hillary Clinton used to be a republican. Lincoln Chafee was a republican when he was a senator. He stood up to bush and Cheney more than 90% of democrats. In my post about gun control I had a comment that said I had stated a number that was wrong, that more people had actually died in 2001 and appeared to think that was an argument against gun control. Weather its on the grow or not gun violence is still atrocious. And on my last post (witch I think all democrats should read and embrace) someone told me to start a new "Progressive populist party". I'm not a moderate by any means. Has our party gone insane? correct me if I'm wrong on this stuff.

My platform

I would like to lay out a new vague platform for the democratic party. A platform to ensure that our party will never be over run by crazy fundamentalist the way the republicans were. I want 6 simple pillars. Please give me some feed back by commenting. This is my best and most important post.

#1. We will never support any thing that kills for no reason.(i.e. war, weapons(guns),Nukes)

#2. Anyone who is on US soil or is a war prisoner of the US has the right to the bill of rights. Race, religion, party, sexuality, age, country of origin or class will not play a factor in determining your rights

#3. Quality of life is more important than money. We will not use a failing economy as an excuse to neglect our citizens. We will ensure every american has a right health care, an at least high school education and welfare if needed.

#4. We will not waste money nor will we use money as a reason to go to war. If the bill waste money without need we will not support it.

#5. Our government will be honest and open, we will respect the bill of rights above all.(yes, I'm aware of the irony but I still think we should be anti gun)

#6. Our government will do all needed to help it's people

The serious problom

There is a Problom the costitution. There is but one thing I regret is sucured by my bill of rights. one right that no single person should have. I am refering to the 2ed amendment. Last year 30,000 people died at the barel of a gun. That number is on the rise. 11,000 died in 2001. Umong G8 Nations were #1. 97% of murders are comitted by guns. WE AS HUMAN BEINGS SHOULD NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO OWN A WEPON THAT IS MEANT ONLY TO KILL ! Yesterday some nut went out and killed 4 people at his school and himself in ohio. 33 Died in VA tech in april and 15 at colunbine in 1998. This must be stoped by the next president wether it be Obama or Edwards or any one else.

But there is something else scarry about this. Something we dont get. The fact is tomarrow when you go to school or work you could be shot dead by some nut with a gun. This person could have killed us in a sense . We need to have better sucurity at our schools and work places. I am in high school right now. we had a lockdown today. luckely it was just 2 people who forgot to sighn in, but what if they would have had guns? Its urgant to do something about this.

There is one other thing we must do about this. WE MUST INSURE EVERY MAN WOMAN AD CHILD IN THE USA FOR BOTH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH ! had these people that went out and did this seeked a psychitrist they probly could have been saved. health care is essental. We must stop this from ever happening again.

SCHIP, Iraq Milestone, Dominici Retires, 2008 prymary, RINO's

I want to talk about a few things in thos post. First off Bush Vetoed SCHIP. He's has to be trying to be hartless. He'd rather fund an unneccicary war where 1 milion Iraqi's have died (we'll get to that later) than your kids insurance. What's he doing? is he trying to make forign leaders think he's crazy, so they think he could drop the bomb at any seccond? is he listening to the grim reaper (Dick Cheney)? what is he doing? This warents Removal from power.

Next up we have the big mile stone in Iraq. I saw an estamate this week. It isn't pretty. This counts every man, woman, and child killed in Iraq.It counts sunni on sunni conbat and sheite on sheite conbat. It counts shotts in the front of the head. The estamate says 1,000,000 Iraqi are dead 4.2 Million Displaced. Even more Disturbingly it says 60% of those killed were bystanders. president vader wont end the war on his own. WE MUST HAVE DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP TO GET US OUT OF IRAQ. I am discusted at our leadership on this issue. Bring the boys back home.
Moving on we have a new senate chance in new mexico. Pete Dominici is retireing. We Have a huge chance now in this open swing state. I would say "run Richardson" but he's running for president. I hope he dropps out to run for the open seat for wich he'd be a shoe in. this would bring my calculation to 56 D-44 R. I would sugest going after Liddy Dole(D-NC), Mitch McConell (R-KY),Lamar Alexander (R-TN),and Ted Stevens(R-AK) to get that filibusterproof majority.

I want to make my endorsement for the 2008 prymary.I am Throwing My suport to senator Barok Obama. The Reason I announce this is because I feel Edwards has lost his chance. My support before was torn between the two.Hillary Is the worst Democratic candidate. She would not end the war, She woulden't do enough for the enviornment, and she's too plastic. We need Barok too get us out of this quagmire and to save the enviornment. He would be better for gay and civil rights and is now our best shot at the whitehouse.
Finally I want to conclude by saying We should try to convert the 4 Senate RINO's Smih(OR), Collins(ME), Snowe(ME) and Spector (PA). We should get their Majority libral voting recors on our side. Here is a web page that has their Voting records.

Link

Note : my data does not line up with this completely so Smith is shown as 46% when my data shows him at 52%

Convert the RINO's

Now in the past 2 days I have mentioned the senate seats in Organ(smith) and Maine (collins). I've been saying we should'nt go after them but I have a better Idea. Rather than Waist valuable seats lets try to convert them.Jim Jeffords and Lincoln Chafee both saw the light, why cant they? Now there are Good republicans.Smith (OR) Collins (ME) Snow(ME) Spector(PA) Lugar(IN) Warner (VA) and Hagle(NE). Hagle and Warner (VA) areretiring. so I say we hold confrances to try to draft the other 5. within the time beween now and NOV we should try to convince chuck hagle to endorse Bob Kerrey IF he runs. We should do the same with John and Mark Warner. If 2-3 convert we will have an even stronger majority in 2009. Try especially to canvert the 4 democrats in the republican party (smith, collins, snow and spector)

Chuck Hagel Retires

Today our party got some news. Chuck Hagel (R-NE) is retiring. Hagel is an Honorable man Voting with us 35% of the time. He stood up to the republican base. He deserves credit for his 12 years of service to this country so let me say we need more Chuck Hagels. the only bad thing about us winning the senate is that we are beating honest, decent, moderate republicans. Sure it was sweet to take out Santourum, Allen, Burns, and even Jim Tallent. But we took out our best republican friend Lincoln Chafee (R-RI),who is now a democrat. I say we go after Hagels open seat and run Frm. Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-NE) He would be a great addition to our majority and was one of the best senators of our time. BUT we should not go after good decent moderate republicans. we should go after any seat now except Collins (R-ME) and Smith (R-OR), Their Our best Republican friends. without them the party may become PURE EVIL.

August of Departures

I took August off, My Ideas did not. thus I am back. The big things in august was the republicans that were forced to leave (bo-hoo). so sad I'm gona miss Gonzolez's lies, Larry Creig's Ultra conservative agenda, Tony snow's Question dancing and Carl Rove' election riggings. There is one Republican departure I am truly sad for in some ways, John Warner served Virginia for 30 years and did to the best of his Knowledge what he thought was right (voting with us 20% of the time 2X the republican average of 9%) But even that has its upside. Larry Creig was a hypocrite, a lier and an Idiot. It is a good thing he's gone but the Governor may pick someone just as conservative, and senate experts dont hold your breath on that one. It's good he's gone but It's not as great as some people think. Tony Snow is gone but his successor is just as much a blind truth bender as Tony Snow or Scott "dances around the questions" Mclelan. Karl Rove's departure is good, but he may be working in advance to mislead the voters of the next election. Now we get to the good ones. Gonzolez is gone. and its true that his next appointee would probably soil the constitution as much as Gonzo or John "no hart" Ashcroft BUT THEY HAVE TO BE CONFIRMED THROUGH OUR SENATE!!! Orin Hatch, Jim Demint, or Michael Churtoff NEVER would. so their gona have to pick a moderate of some type. Now its true that Warner was an honorable man his leaving (along with other things) all but confirms the senate for the Democrats. Max Bacus (D-MT) now appears to be safe. Johnson Anounced his re-election bid leaving LA the only venrable Senate seat Mitch Mcconel isn't even talking about trying to re-gain the senate. If mark warner runs he will win leaving my model senate 53D-33R-1I. Alaska and Idaho have both come in to play while Wyoming has seemed to not. That Means the senate is 53D-33R-1I with one democratic seat in play(LA) and 16 Republican (NH,CO,VA(assuming Mark Warner runs all three have been counted as Democratic wins) along with MN,KY,GA,NC,OR,ID, TX,ME,NE,OK,NM,AK, and TN (assuming Harold ford runs)) at this point the senate is ours. unless some massive tsunami of republican spin comes we have already won.I say we attack the more conservitive senators first (ie. Mcconell(KY) Cornyn(TX),Inhofe (OK) and the Infamous Liddy Dole (NC)).use Collins(ME) and Smith (OR)(Coleman(MN) would be on this list but I want to see Al Frankin so badly) only if we must, their good people.
