20 Yr Old Marine Died in Afghanistan

Corporal Jason Anthony Karella, 20, died Oct. 9, 2008, while serving with the Marine Corps in Afghanistan.

Born Oct. 25, 1987, in Fairbanks, Jason moved to Anchorage in 1998.

He attended Bartlett High School and graduated through the Alaska Military Youth Academy Challenge Program. Jason enjoyed playing hockey in his youth, as well as snowboarding and snowmachining throughout Alaska. An avid outdoorsman, Jason loved camping, hunting and fishing. When he was 16, Jason made the decision to join the Marines, completing boot camp at MCRD in San Diego, and was stationed at Twentynine Palms in California.

Jason completed a tour in Iraq in 2007. He was due to come home from Afghanistan in November and was waiting for the paperwork to be completed for his promotion to sergeant.

Jason is survived by his mother, Anne-Marie Kitchens and step-father, Bill Anklewich; father, Kevin Karella and step-mother, Dawn-Marie; brothers, Josh and Jesse Karella; grandparents, Bob and Barbara Kitchens, and Rosemary Karella; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Doesn't It Just Make You Sick?

Doesn't it make you sick that McCain actually voted 4 out of 5 times in favor or Bush budgets, and then he wants to paint Barack Obama the one that will raise your taxes? With all the lies that this ticket has told, you'd think people would get the message finally. Are ignorant people really controlling our elections?

John's also blaming BO about people that are working for Acorn, that approach voters to beg them to fill out forms (more than one) so that they can get paid. It's no reflection on BO, but McCain keeps saying this, it's disturbing. As long as he keeps saying it, along with the infamous Lou Dobbs, people buy it.

I worked elections counting votes and I know I've told this story before, but proves a point. We found an old farmer that registered his wife (who'd been dead for years), his dogs, cats, pigs, horses and goats. He registered 27 names. It takes nearly 2 years to complete an investigation and charge these offenders. All it says about the offender is, they fear of the opposing party and willing to commit a crime. This has no reflection of BO, he can't control what people are willing to do. It also says, people are disparate to make a wage! Besides, Acorn worked in BO primary, NOT the general election, so McCain should be growing a nose that's cleared American airspace already!
He keeps telling these whoopers and sewing seeds of hatred, that if BO is harmed, Palin should be charged for inciting hatred, rallying mobs to hate BO to the point he was harmed; and she's the terrorist, she's the modern day insider to terrorism, it's HER words turned the hearts to ice and they spew their vinegar. Hum, "Palling around with terrorist" and "Wants to harm our country"...where in hell did she get that? I think she should have to undergo an interrogation to find out how she came to know such a thing, to say it. Who's holding her accountable? That language is dangerous, period, and had anyone else said this, spewing slander, there would be repercussions. For some strange reason, she's never held accountable, she hacked a computer, gets people fired and even now when they found her guilty of abusing her power, she still doesn't apologize, matter of fact, she claims the investigation vindicated her! Sick dog.

Another thing that churns my stomach is, McCain wants to earmark $5,000 per citizen to privatize health care. That doesn't even cover one doctor visit. My mom lives only because of medicine that costs $1000 for a couple pills. If he wants to say he's fiscally responsible, or understands economics, he's nuttier than a fruitcake.
He's sewing a false sense of security with him, and sewing seeds of hatred, playing with fire. His partner is the fuel. Put the match down and walk away from the fuel, John, then go home.

Levi Johnston Future Palin Son-In-Law QUITS High School

Sarah Palin, has dropped out of high school and taken a North Slope job as an apprentice electrician. My son is a senior, and he's worked for NOAA, as an apprentice his entire junior year, and did Field and Track and helped build a Science Sphere, now housed at Lena Point (modeled after one in Washington DC). I don't see why his parents would let him quit school to work on the oil slopes with Todd Palin.

These Palin's (Todd and Sarah) are 'loyal to oil' only, and Alaskans are left out, Alaskan issues are left out, they're being duped, as well as the right wing party. They're all about building the oil corporation, look Sarah's mission is to plant miles of pipeline that will eventually corrode and cost tax payers hundreds of millions. It's already happened on her beat on the North Slope (Prudhoe Bay)...oil spills and fires. I keep asking "what's wrong with tanking the gas?" Trucks are easier to maintain and not a national security issue. And what's wrong with a kid continuing his education? Most girls expecting, HAVE to complete school and go to alternative school to receive a diploma. HE's not expecting, BRISTOL is. There's been no mention of Bristol, only that the Palin children are going to the Juneau school district, which is a big hairy lie too. They are NOT in Juneau, maybe in Wasilla, or Anchorage area, but not registered in Juneau, as they claimed. If I were Levi's mom, I'd be pleading for him to stay in school, or he's just going to become a survivor, and holding onto the hem of Palin's skirt. He'll never be independent. He even said that Sarah better win the election. Why? What's in it for him? His life should be separate from DC politics, so the statement was strange. It just makes me wonder if he were taught responsibility of using protection, both in relationships and in governing his life (school). We know Sarah didn't teach her daughter, but what about Levi's parents? Didn't they teach him either? What's wrong with those CONSERVATIVES up north? Ever heard of being conservative with relationships until you can be responsible for one?

Sarah Palin on Saturday accused Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" because of an association with a former '60s radical, stepping up an effort to portray Obama as unacceptable to American voters. Palin's reference was to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. Its members took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol, during the Vietnam War era.
Obama, who was a child when the group was active, has denounced Ayers' radical views and activities. (He was probably in Indonesia or Hawaii and was 8 yrs old when this MAN did was part of these acts against the government).
In 1970, the group was blamed for a pipe bomb in San Francisco that killed a police officer and injured another. Three members of the group were killed in 1970 in an accidental explosion of a bomb in their Greenwich Village basement.
While it is known that Obama and Ayers live in the same Chicago neighborhood, served on a charity board together and had a fleeting political connection, it's a stretch of any reading of the public record to say the pair ever palled around. And it's simply wrong to suggest that they were associated while Ayers was committing terrorist acts.

What most of you aren't understanding is the depth of the anger on the right and left of the electorate in this country.

That is what John McCain is hearing at his rallies and you are seeing on CNN. Democrats don't hear it at their rallies because the left long ago discarded the democratic party.

This anger is not something that will somehow evaporate and just go away. The right is just now discovering how much they have been misled and betrayed.

Taking care of the needs of the citizens is not PANDERING - it is what ruling classes do to stay in power.

The United States of America should declare a "Year of Jubilee" - the "forgiveness of all debts." The requirement for a Year of Jubilee is clearly established in chapter 25, verse 10 of the of the Old Testament/Torah Book of Leviticus. Verses 28, 40, 50, 54, of the 25th chapter and verse 24 of the 27th chapter clearly require the forgiveness of all debts by all believers every 50 years.

This is a requirement, it is not an option. This is why in Chapter 6, verse 12, of the New Testament Book of Matthew (The Lord’s Prayer) Jesus prayed, "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors."
