We are the democrats, this is what and who we are.

Democrats are mutli-taskers, who can balance the budget, and create effective social programs that are productive for the economy, it does not have to be one or the other. The Clintons have already proved that. Creativity works.

Democrats are the great communicators, who are willing to knock heads and work together to find a common denominator for the greater good.

Democrats are the compassionate ones, willing to help the needy and share their time, energy and assets with those who are less fortunate and help them become self-empowered.

Democrats are the conscientious ones, who conserve the earth, the environment, and wildlife.

Democrats value education for all, knowing that a separatist society of haves and have nots, will only bring us down as a culture.

Democrats celebrate the arts and sciences and are thoughtful and considerate to what innovations the future holds.

Democrats are for strengthening the nation as a whole, and not just an elite few.

Democrats are the caring ones, those who are in favor of quality healthcare for the needy and under privileged.

Democrats have creativity at their dispense and use it to avoid needless war and bloodshed for profit.

Democrats are not consumed by greed, personal gain and ambition, they want things to better as a whole, not just for themselves.

Yes.

Democrats are the compassionate, creative, communicators working toward social evolution, all the things that seem to scare republicans.

Wouldn't you like to be one too?

umm.... it's been a pretty long time since I have called anyone anything, decades... perhaps I missed a few.

LOL
Allot of us are watching a regression in the post's here at PB. For a few weeks things were slowly getting better then last week towards the end they started to go down hill and yesterday everything went out the window. I thought I would weigh in this.
Though I have not been posting anti Obama links or anything like that and the links concerning Obama I have found I was trying to get a answer and had to post it since om's were down. I have noticed a few posting comments and blogs that just continue to fuel a fire. Now I am seeing post's and comments calling for people to ignore those that are stirred up.
Forgive me those I am about to name.... We all know Betty, Jen, Fem will post things that people do not like and most people usually give the "ok whatever your crazy" Starting the end of last week it turned into a witch hunt and I really did think allot of the blogs were taken out of context and just made to attack. There are many of us here that everyone knows are either members of puma or just will not vote Obama. I thought we had gotten to a point where we agreed to diagree and were moving on to state and local things and more importantly just talkin g about issues that had nothing to do with Obama.
Then yesterday I felt like Mikey yes you started to once again fan the flames and your post's about puma, and about ihow people should post and links and such started everything off again.
After reading some of the blogs today it feels like we are back at square one. Again I am not trying to start fights or anything but just lending my observation. I really thought we had like a unspoken truse and now that seems to be all out the window.
I have a question how do they figure up the polls? I have never taken a poll asking me if I would support Obama. I was just wondering when they say50% clinton supporters would vote Obama is that 50% they asked or 50% period? How do they do the math I am sure there is a formula right? Just asking I have always wondered.
I donno what exactly happened from last night till today. Seems like a pissing match with who is more racist, has been thru more so on. I do not know how many people read my post's last night but I posted several blogs which were numbered. I did this for a reason...... I wanted to highlight that racism, and discrimination has played a part in everything about this country. Even once this country was settled the building and everything has slavery and racism tied to it. NO RACE or group of people have been treated worse than another. If you are Native American you have been treated no worse then African Americans or Irish or jewish just treated poorly in different ways. If you are African American you have been treated different not worse then NAtive Americans, Irish, and Jewish.... this has and is always been part of our society. You do not beleive me go to the border.... go to the south, go to the res.... hell go to the hood. Everyone is responsible and all of our ancestors are responsible for the past at one point of time or another.
These wounds will never heal as long as we bicker about who has been treated worse or who is being treated worse. Anyways notice people can make jewish jokes and everyone laughs? How many can make African american jokes and everyone laughs?
Point here is we all accept it in one way or another we just may not all realize it.
OK EVERYONE!!!
Every race owned slaves during the slavery days. Yes it is true even african americans.

Jewish-
Only ten percent of the 150,000 American Jews at the time of the Civil War lived in the South. Southern Jews who owned slaves were overwhelmingly "smallholders" concentrated in cities, not in the plantation districts containing ninety percent of the enslaved population. For example, there were only four Jews - less than one-tenth of one percent - among the 11,000 Southerners who in 1830 owned fifty or more slaves.

Rabbi Bertram W. Korn, "Jews and Negro Slavery in the Old South, 1789-1865," in The Jewish Experience in America, ed. Abraham J. Karp (Waltham, MA: American Jewish Historical Society, 1969), Vol. 3, p. 180:

"[There were] Jewish owners of plantations, but altogether they constituted only a tiny proportion of the Southerners whose habits, opinions, and status were to become decisive for the entire section, and eventually for the entire country. . . . [Only one Jew] tried his hand as a plantation overseer even if only for a brief time."

This was part of the society at the time and although one can say a majority of whites owned slaves the point is everyone did. Whites do and should not carry this burden alone.
