We need to get that second wind, time to start ID'ing and registering new Democrats and enter that information in vote-builder.com, you don't have to do many just 10 or 15 a week until the next election. This will make things much easier for the next time. Then get with your county or parish Dem's so you can start helping with fund raising efforts. We cannot afford to let our guard down if we are to continue to make gains in the Senate and House.Plus you might think about helping your local candidates by finding out if they are running again or if they are an incumbent.

Don't rest for too long or history will repeat itself remember that Republicans ruled the house and senate just a couple of years ago. If we are not vigilant we will fall.

Let me say this I am not telling you to vote for who I believe in. What I am saying is to choose the candidates that you like. And get to work for them. There are too many people sittin around doing nothing. If you want things to change, you have to get off your duff and make things happen. for more than a month I have talked about my experiences and the volunteer work I have been doing. And you know what It feels great to be making a difference in my state. YOUR CANDIDATE'S NEED YOUR HELP. Local level candidates have little to no money. So any time that you can give them would be helpful. Here are some ways you can pitch in.

1. Donate your time doing simple things.(Ect)
a. Data Entry.
b. phone banks.
c. filing and book keeping.
d. canvasing (public outreach)
e. event setup (local forums)
f. envelope stuffing
g. packet prep
h. driving people to the voting center.

* All it takes is 5 hours a week and you can help your candidates immensely.

2. Places to find your local candidates, and how you can help.

a. State Democrat website.
b. County Democrat website.
c. Go down to your City Hall and find out who the
candidates are and where they are located.
d. Very few have their own website unless they are
going for the Senate or House, but you can check.

We have 18 days left its time to get a move on.

I want you to sound off, and show me your pride. Who here is Canvassing, Making phone Calls. Doing data entry. Organizing registration drives. The time is now. get to work. Make this the largest voting percentage in the history of the U.S. Right now there are young people doing amazing thing's. And the entirety of the Democratic party is flexing their muscles. We need you to call your friends and ask them them to get involved. Get your neighbors (If they are Democrats) to help you. If you are in a battle ground state you need to pick it up. School starts tomorrow and my first class is at 7:30 and after that it's volunteer time. Bless you all, and keep fightin the good fight.

I have always spoken to your members with respect and dignity. In fact I have spoken up for many of you when you are having a respectful conversation about your candidate. and you are verbally assaulted.

But My Candidate is Obama and for some reason I cannot have a good conversation with others on this site without hyenas nipping at me.

You would probably ask me why I chose Obama over Clinton. It was simple Idaho only has 18 delegates Obama visited and Hillary thought my state was not important enough to stop by. In fact she thought that most of the mountain west wasn't important enough to visit and we all know how that turned out. and that is my take on that.

I hope the best for you all, But it is obvious we will disagree.
