As a student in a public high school in the Midwest, I understand the importance of education and how my education will lead to my career later in life.

Senator Obama has dedicated his career to bring people together to tackle the large issues facing our country. As a state Senator he worked with Republicans to expand healthcare to 150,000 children in Illinois and passed $100 million in tax cuts for working families. In the United States Senate, Senator Obama worked across the aisle to pass ethics reform leglation that was described as the "gold standard" for ethics reform.
